Really quiet and cozy with lots of parking. The food is very delicious and especially well served.

Insanely good cuisine: catfish blue, sauerbraten and the desserts were excellent. The service was also great. I found it really inexpensive for the offered performance and will be back soon.

Cooking is unique here! Each plate is a work of art and the dishes taste fantastic. Here is a real professional at the start, please keep it up !!! Nice atmosphere, very good and exceptional food. Priced, but the quality and choice adequate. If you order three courses, you get at least 5, as intermediate courses are selected according to the choice of the kitchen suitable for the selected. Super nicely decorated, somewhere between modern and quaint! Especially for celebrations such as birthdays super suitable.

We finally managed to visit the newly renovated tavern for lunch. The decor is very well done and is a mixture of tradition and modernity. We enjoyed the excellent food in the garden, the veal schnitzel is the best I've eaten lately and the other dishes are also excitingly rethought. We will be back.

I really did not know how "vegetarian" can taste. Until yesterday - just a sensation !!! Do not be put off by the somewhat weird menu. Just try it - is a real eating experience.

LOCATION: We were in Franz Xavers last Friday for two. Even from the outside, the tavern makes a beautiful, traditionally breathtaking first impression with modern elements. He then moves on directly inside. Classic Wirthauseinrichtung (wall paneling, wooden floor, etc.) combined with a modern lighting and space concept, great furniture and beautiful little details (Munich city colors, Münchner Kindl, etc.). SERVICE: We were greeted warmly, the jackets were taken and led to our table. The service was as attentive and accommodating throughout the evening as it was at the beginning. No empty glasses, no missing cutlery, always a smile on the lips - TOP. EAT: As already mentioned, the small menu is more quality than anything else. As a small appetizer there was a focaccia with beetroot dip and butter at the expense of the house while we studied the map. Appetizer: Wild herb salad and oxtail soup were both excellent. Main course: Rehgulasch with dumplings and Preiselbereis, as well as octopus with cabbage and mushroom foam were fantastic. The only slight point of criticism, a few pieces of deer were a bit over-cooked, but who has ever even prepared wild, knows that this is almost inevitable. The remaining pieces fell on the tongue. Due to the portion sizes was unfortunately no more room for the dessert. PRICE-PERFORMANCE: For what you get offered in Franz Xaver in terms of quality and ambience, the few euros more for a dish than the Munich average really more than justified. A really great and pampered Bavarian cuisine! We will be back definitely!

I got the recommendation to go there. Just like that I would never have found this and what should I say? I would have missed something! Service very friendly, card not very large, but quality, great atmosphere (see photos). For being just passing through, I can say that it was definitely one of the highlights. I am fortunate enough to be in the corner more often and will surely be there again. Especially the Schmalznuderl I would like to try. Unfortunately, there was no room after the meal. I can not help but give full 5 stars here. Class and keep it up!
